12/28/2023 0 Comments Presentation expert target reddit![]() ![]() Also if your interviewer can tell you’re into the department then that helps a lot. Hopefully you’re at least somewhat passionate and knowledgable about tech stuff (tvs, video games, speakers, etc) because if you get the job you’ll get a lot of questions. availability will make or break whether or not you’re hired depending on the store’s needs, but with open nights and weekends you’re probably fine. for tech you only work in the electronics department. Interviews are an intro and a few situational questions. Wish me luck! Hopefully I can answers all the situational, what-if?, etc. Also, terribly sorry for all the questions - Google/Reddit didn't really give that much info since this position (Specialty Sales | Tech) seems to be new, recently created. Are Target interviewers more lax/less uptight in the afternoon? Like, are they less judgy later in the day? More room for oopsies? (interview is at 2:00pm)Īnyways, thanks in advance if you answered my questions. Does Target email you if you did/didn't get the job or do they just email you if you got the job?ĥ. Is it good that I scheduled my interview as early as I could get? I could of scheduled a Saturday interview but chose a Monday interview to make myself look good.Ĥ. Could Target pull a "surprise" during my interview and offer me a job that I did not apply for? Don't really want to go to an interview for "x" job but then surprise! get lied to and offered a completely different job. Is this normal? I've always talked via phone with an interviewer before an appointment.Ģ. Weirdly, Target did not call/text me, they just sent an e-mail requiring me to make an appointment. The only information I found was what I said before in question 1 and that a SS|T doesn't require any fancy requirements despite being called a fancy name: Specialty Sales | Tech.ġ. Any more general info about being a SS|T? I looked on Google/Reddit about this position and really didn't find anything, it seems like a recently new, created position. Is a SS|T like a sales associate that only works in the electronics department? Target took the original job posting down and I can't look up the duties, summary, etc.Ģ. Now, a couple questions regarding the position (Specialty Sales | Tech):ġ. Does Target prioritize availability over skill? Like, if I'm a basic b1tch but I have open availability (nights, weekends, etc.) is that good? This might be my first job and while I don't really have experience I have open availability. Does Target ask questions like "So, what do you know about Target? What's our mission?" Like, what do you know about our company questions? I just don't want to waste time researching the Target Wiki and have no questions asked about it.Ħ. Like, I want to make sure that if there is a long line at guest services I have enough time while I wait in line.ĥ. are very busy so I was thinking that I could show up 10-20 minutes early considering I have to wait in line. Is it okay if I show up like 10-20 minutes early? My email says that I have to check in with guest services and my G.S. ![]() they said what I was going to say, um."Ĥ. Following question 2, are interviews 1 on 1 or are they group interview? Group interviews are especially difficult for me since I'm usually last to answer and everyone before me said what I was going to say and when the interviewer gets to me my dumba55 is like "um. ![]() Really difficult for me to maintain eye contact with multiple interviewers as well making sure I give equal time to everyone.ģ. How many people are interviewing you? Like, as I've said before, I've done 4 panel interviews but I prefer to have a one on one with an interviewer. Do interviews really last 1 hour? On the schedule list it says that the interview will last 1 hour, is that true? I've had 4 panel interview that didn't even last that long.Ģ. Hey, like the title says, I have a job interview tomorrow (Specialty Sales | Tech) and have a couple of questions (Yes, even after reading the FAQ). ![]()
